Why I Created This Guide
For ten years, I had the opportunity to teach teenagers in seminary. That experience taught me that some of the most meaningful moments in gospel learning occur when young people recognize truth for themselves.
The upcoming changes provide a valuable opportunity to think carefully about the kind of learning we are trying to create. I prepared this guide to help teachers move beyond simply covering material and instead create experiences in which youth can ask, discover, feel, and act.
My hope is that it will help teachers approach these changes with greater confidence while keeping Jesus Christ and personal conversion at the center of every class.
