Exodus 7–13: Choosing Faith Over Fear

Trusting God when life feels uncertain

Trusting God when life feels uncertain

Life can feel overwhelming sometimes.

What if I fail?
What if this doesn’t work out?
What if everything falls apart?

Our minds naturally go to worst-case scenarios.

But the story of the plagues teaches something powerful:

Even in chaos… God is in control.

God Protects His People

While Egypt experienced plagues—
flies, hail, darkness, destruction—

The children of Israel were protected.

They had light when others had darkness.

That’s not random.

That’s intentional.

That’s God showing:

“I am the Lord in the midst of the earth.”

What This Means for You

You might not understand everything happening in your life.

You might not feel in control.

But God is.

He sees what you can’t see.
He knows what you don’t know.
He is guiding things in ways you don’t yet understand.

Reflection

What is something in your life right now that feels uncertain or stressful?

What would it look like to trust God with it instead of fearing it?

Today’s Challenge

The next time you feel anxious, pause and remind yourself:

“God knows. God sees. God is in control.”

Let that truth replace your fear.

Grateful you’re here.
